I am thinking of running Einstein@home too.....if i did run this and Seti would they just switch over every hour?

Hi Paul,
The default is set at changing projects every 60 minutes, but it is adjustable. I have mine set at 90 minutes. You will find the settings on your account page.

There are three times that I know about when the scheduler makes a decision about which project to run. When a WU is downloaded, when a result is completed, or when the swap time has ellapsed since the previous event.

It is not the Scheduler, the BOINC Manager makes these choices ...

I think he means the scheduler built in to the client - and it's not in the BOINC Manager. ;)

Actually you are right ... it is in the BOINC Daemon ...

And I should have specified that it is the CPU scheduler (a small portion of the BOINC daemon).
