Man, it's just that I don't like historical revisionism. Deimos responded to my post about one of the SETI members' URL link "historyofmacedonia.org", where I criticized the website for it's revision Greek history. It seems Deimos is into this sort of thing.

Yea, I checked out that thread Sanger. You know, many newspapers in 1933 were kinda radical by todays standards, especially the Daily Express that Deimos shows.

Threads like this always have the potential to create flame wars. This sometimes can be a funny game. But nazi propaganda is not funny and not a game. We should avoid to bring it on this level.

So, what's going on here? This guy hasn't converted anyone to his point of view; at best he's proven to us all that there are sick people out there who live their life believing lies or delusions. He stated his point of view, and anyone who was interested took a shot at trying to dispute him (an impossible task when dealing with zealots of any stripe). As offensive as his view may be, there is no good reason he can not state it, nor any good reason he can't be ignored.

This is quite different from the actual disruption of this forum committed by some in the past. In fact, based on those incidents, the developers have given us the ability to rate (and thus hide) posts, and to place individuals on ignore status. Unless D et P becomes a physical hindrance to enjoying the boards, just do not give him the satisfaction of throwing reason and truth at his obscene pronouncements.

Hello Tom,

I agree. Sometimes, "Free Speech" is often offensive speech. If you don't like it don't read or listen to it. But don't say because I neither like it nor believe it that it should be banned or censored. I didn't fight in several wars to uphold The Constitution to have parts of it thrown away just because I don't believe in what someone has to say.

Why is it auch a crime to "deny" the holocaust with actual facts? What do you have to hide? You offer no proof but "it must have happened". I offer verifiable facts that prove otherwise. Searching for the truth hardly makes one a "hater, or bigot". Facts that don't fit what you BELIEVE happened are what you find offensive. If you find the truth offensive, stick your head back in the sand and believe the lie that's been pumped into you for the past 60 years. If facts say different to what is commonly accepted. Then what's commonly accepted must be untrue to a degree.

Take a look at that camp again and tell me what was wrong with it? All well fed, get to perform operas, recitals, what else could you ask for? Even run by Jews. Well, atleast 1 was disciplined for falsifying camp records while in charge. But what do you expect from them? It's in their nature to lie.

Thank you for fighting for our country Ziggy. My dad is a Vietnam veteran, so I understand why this may mean a lot to you. But the comments about a concentration camp being a "vacation camp" are just too cruel.

If that camp was truely a vacation spot, then it was used by the nazis as propaganda. They tried to show how good they were to the Jews and then did the horrible things to all the other Jews under cover.

The only conspiracy here is the nazis trying to coverup what they were really doing.
