BOINC 4.19 cannot correctly detect computer location

ussr Send message Joined: 31 May 03 Posts: 19 Credit: 1,882,900 RAC: 0	Message 77783 - Posted: 9 Feb 2005, 10:03:35 UTC I've set in 'Computer summary' location as 'Work' but after 'Update' command BOINC client shows in 'Messages': "General prefs: no separate prefs for home; using your defaults" Why BOINC 4.19 cannot correctly detect computer location? Restart BOINC && calling 'Update' command again doesn't helps. Changing loaction in 'Computer summary', I ascertain that this setting ignored by BOINC client. A future version should correct this problem. A way to make it working is described here. To use with precaution. Backup before making changes !
