Hi,
I just noticed that I have at least 10 computers in my computer list, but in reality I have only 2 machines.
It seems that I can't merge all of them because CPU type is not the same, but in reality it's the same.
Now my computer list show 4 machines instead of 2.

first machine:
1. GenuineIntel Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
2. Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz Pentium

second machine
1. GenuineIntel Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz
2. Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz Pentium

Any idea to merge number1 with number2 ?
Or is it impossible and I stay with 4 machines.

It's due to changes in new versions of the boinc client. Processors are identified differently (to help with problems with predictor@home).

Your computers are being identified as being different and cannot (at the moment anyway) be merged.

There is no way around this but when all the results have been deleted from your old hosts you should be able to delete them.

Don't know if they will fix this problem, they have bigger problems to sort out at the moment
