Hello Guido,

that sounds pretty low to me.
Even my Athlon XP 2.600 can beat the Whetstones and doesn't lose too much at the Dhrystones:

2004-06-23 09:12:11 - 2597 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
2004-06-23 09:12:11 - 4567 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU

Kind regards

Mike

The benchmarks are going to be inaccurate for a while.... Please don't let get to you.... We weren't given the chance to fix it on the Beta side before today.

My client_state.XML file says:

p_ncpus 1
p_vendor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+
.... (overclocked by 10% on CL2 mem, original Clawhammer core, NOT 'newcastle')
p_model Pentium
p_fpops 2780410742.496050 = 2.78 Gflop = 2780 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
p_iops 5695555034.762909 = 5.695 Gips = 5695 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU
p_membw 1000000000.000000 --- WRONG -- should be 1993 not 1000.
p_fpop_err 0
p_iop_err 0
p_membw_err 0
p_calculated 12732457008.485847

They stopped benchmarking memory bandwidth with version 3.06 or 3.07.

The dhry/whetstone benchmarks are, I think, fairly accurate between systems running the same OS, but don't compare well across operating systems.

It would be neat if y'all could start putting your benchmark results up at http://boinc.slapyo.com/benchmarks/ so we can compare them better across different systems.
