http://setiathome.berkeley.edu is the URL I have been using and it allowed me to just manually update without detaching ...

No, you should be connecting to http://setiathome.berkeley.edu

If this is the url you are currently attached to, you can just do multiple (at least 10) manual updates and you won't have to detach and reattach. If you are connected to the setiboinc url that you posted above, you will have to detach to get to the new one.

Darren...thnx..I used the URL u suggested...cool, but it dumped my cache, and all I got back was 1 WU, have been doing manual updates to cache up a bit, now
keep geting deffered, no work from project.....reporting from China Xi3
