Just added an old HP Pavilion 3266 to my group that i picked up from a friend; i didn't immediatly format as there were a few music files i wanted to check out.
one of the first things was to not lose idle time, so on SETI went.
i knew that it was running slow (old PII or celeron around the 500mhz range) but knew there were major issues when i saw:

Measured floating point speed 31.25 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed 89.01 million ops/sec

Host ID 498012

this thing is FILLED with spyware, to the point that it could not surf through ethernet. i've cleaned some of that crap out, and will be running virus scan soon, but thought the benchmark was hilarious.

this thing will be formatted soon, probably have to put win2k on it until i re-learn unix (which will be quite some time, i fear)

enjoy!
