From the BOINC_Dev Mailing List:
We have released what we believe is going to be a build good enough for public release.

Let us know if there is anything wrong, if not, we'll be releasing soon.

I upgraded 7 PC's to the new v4.17, 6 went off without a hitch but 1 reset the Project & gave me new WU's. I had a backup to go back to v4.15 but just decided to let the new installation stand.

I had a problem with that PC reseting the Project with v4.16 also & needed to get caught up with the newer versions anyway ...

I just installed 4.17 and noticed that Seti completion time went way up . I am half way through the WU, the first 52% took 01:53:07, the rest now shows at 06:20:52 to completion.
Otherwise the install went without any problems.

when boinc actually started crunching the Seti wu, the completion time went back to normal. everything looks ok.
