Just a voluntary non scientific poll of how new Einstein@home users are giving up SETI and other project CPU time. Right now I have it at 48%/48% SETI/Einstein with Climateprediction used as a Back up at 4%. |

Guess I will check the other threads better! All apology's. |

Appology? for what? I use the default 100 share on all projects for the moment. Soon, when I feel that the other projects are running more cooperatively I will probably go with altered settings with LHC@Home, Einstein@Home at fairly high shares and Predictor@Home and SETI@Home at much lower numbers. |

I want to finish some WU where I have short deadline time and I have to switch 4 boxes at the end of the month. But then I will put all 5 project on 20% (SETI, CPDN, Predictor, Einstein and LHC - i hope it will work again in a near future). ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD! Potrebujete pomoc? My Stats |

> Appology? for what? I received the opinion that I should have started this conversation in the other Sharing thread. But we will continue here. BOINC is going to drive me to more Computers!$!And Video games will keep me upgrading them. I would like a machine dedicated to each project. It's hard to give up SETI crunch time' but I got into Einstein a little early and would like to get a good Start. |

Rethink the plan... if SETI@Home goes down, you drain your queue, now you have an idle machine ... Put at least 2, I suggest 3 if they are all the light projects SETI@Home, LHC@Home, Einstein@Home ... If you have bandwidth, Predictor@Home ... My emergency stand-by is CPDN ... I actually run all the projects that are possible on each machine. Keeps them from getting bored ... Note, LHC does not run on the Macintosh at the moment, and maybe never will ... but for all else, spread the wealth around in both directions. |

Pirates 1000 because of the short deadline SAH 50 Predictor 50 Einstein 50 LHC 50 CPDN 50 LHC Alpha 10 Beta 10 Alpha 10 On every machine that is capable of running a WU for the project. BOINC WIKI |
