I noticed that as i flip through the leader boards the credits are not in sequential order. for example, one page will end with a person with 2500 the next page will start with a person having 2700 and the very next will have people with 2300 credits. looks like a script went south.

It was like this all the time. It's has not been an easy job to make stats :-)

The default sort order is by recent average credit. Look at the RAC instead.

ummm move through the listings. 20 at a time. notice that after the first few hundred or so participants the rankings get all messed up and out of order

If you click on Total Credit (which should be in blue) it will sort in that order. otherwise, default is RAC

you really arent paying attention to what i am saying or you are using english as a second language. the listings are messed up. the first several are in order. after that some of the rankings are randomly out of order. IF you doubt me. keep going to the next 20 and after the first 500 participants you will see exactly what I am talking about. It doesn't matter which listings you look at avg credit or overall. they are both messed up. sheesh why did i bother. maybe i thought a seti admin might actuaolly look at this and attempt to fix the scripting

I believe he was talking about individual users. Team displays seem to be ordered by your ranking in seti-classic. They may have just imported the seti-classic stats in that order and the teams are displayed in order of userid - I'm really not sure on that. However, to solve this problem for my team (The Knights who say NI!) I made a stats web page. It turned out to be just as easy to do for everyone as just for KWSN. It is my profile URL. I think you will find what you are looking for there :)
Now I just hope I don't generate too much traffic for my ISP's taste :)
P.S. Site is still under construction and isn't the prettiest site ever made... but it works :)

Ahhh. My mistake. I see now that it does indeed seem that team stats are sorted by ranking in seti-classic. Thanx for the link to your stats page! Much better! Wonder how many will start using your page now! :/ |
