Is it possible to configure either SETI or Hardware to
use only lets say 75% of CPU ressource.
I wouldn't mind too much if I was running SETI on a desktop with proper cooling device but I am actualy running SETI on my Laptop Presaro 2800 P4M 1.4 GHz.
I have managed to keep temp to reasonable level but stil I want to protect my machine from working too hard.
Currently crunching WU in about 5 hours at 100% CPU
I would prefer doing WU in 7.5 hours at 75% CPU
Is it possible ?
