> I happened to be at event where I met President Clinton and believe me the
> protesters were thier, in force.

LAF, right, that's why the media covered it so extensivly as they are doing now. And this isn't a knock, but I have a hard time believing you met the President and don't know the difference between their and there......c'mon dude, that's not a typo.

>Also if the republicans are "better" why did
>they constantly attack Clinton for his behaivior as a young man.

Telling the truth is not attacking anyone. Showing up for the sole purpose of causing a disturbance is attacking someone.

>Then when simular things were found out about w said we can't hold his youthful >mistakes against him?

Bush left the country instead of serving in the armed forces, or are the 2 events not similiar at all?

>I wasn't aware that all the pro-lifers that quite successfully disrupted the 97 >Inauguration proceedings were Democrats.

I have no memory of this, nor can I find a link.....please provide supporting evidence, and while you are at it, please explain how pro-lifer equals Rebuplican, because I'm 99.99% sure they two terms are NOT synonymous. These could have been ordinary Jesus Freaks.

>Americans are allowed to protest as much as they want
>Special areas a safe distance away from government officials will be provided.

Agreed, but the Presidential Inauguration is neither the time nor the place unless your purpose is to make a scene rather than a point. Just like if we are in an auto accident. I can jump out and beat you up for running a red light, or I can take you to court. One is obviously right and one is obviously wrong.

Protesting is not a crime, and many were protesting in DC yesterday, the day before, and whenever they wish . . . but not wherever they wish. Trespassing is a crime, and entering a place from which you have been excluded is not excused by a protest sign.
