Here we are on the very eve of the demise of SETI classic. The team of which I am a member, The Internet Infidels, 262 members, has produced just 8 transfers to BOINC. That's 3%. When the dawn comes up like thounder outa BOINC across the way, how many crunchers will we have? And given the present state of affairs does it matter? Dave Nelson |

Consider yourself lucky. I can't get my neighbor to switch to BOINC, much less any other team members, and we even share the same internet connection. . <a href="http://www.brainsmashr.com"><img src="http://www.brainsmashr.com/signature.gif"><img src="http://brainsmashr.com/boinc/counter_big.php?id=305369&project=seti&ctx=white&cva=red&cbo=white&cbg=black&linethickness=2"></a> |

You mention that we're at the eve of the demise of Classic..... Has a definite date been set yet? I imagine we'll have quite a shortage of WUs when the first wave of transfers takes place, as the schedulers would have to run extra long to just keep up with the demand of new WUs.... |
