Running BOINC 4.13 for powerpc-apple darwin and SETI controle 3.2 on an iBOOK G4 Mac laptop.
Now as far as I know installation is correct.But computer Host I.D. numbers dont match between computer and account site.Also instead of sending completed work unit (meaning ONE in the last two days)it keeps downloading more.I'm not sure exactly how many but I'd put the count close to twenty plus.I'm almost at the point of dumping the lot and starting over or quiting on the Mac.

Checked the info available on your iBook from your account.

I can only see upload/download speeds, but you can see
%time computer is on
%time computer is active

Make sure these numbers are correct (example: a work computer with 8 hour days would have both of these numbers approximately 33% or 8/24 )

It seems BOINC thinks your machine can do 9 WUs per day, as it downloaded 9 on the 17th and 9 on the 18th.

Estimated WU production is based on [WU estimated FP ops] / ( [floating point benchmark] x [number of CPUs] x [% time computer(BOINC) is active].

Number of WUs you download is this number above multiplied by [Connect to server every ___ days].

Check each of these numbers (all available to you via your "My Account" webpage) and see if any are out of whack.

This is whats strange it shows client on 100%,time connected 100%,time active 100% But all computers only work between 21:00pm and 06:00am.So I'm not on 100% of the time .Also My P4HT 3ghz benches at MFPS 1240.72 ,MIS 2464.14 and is working on 18 WUs,The P4 2.66ghz benches at MFPS 1397.82, MIS 4223.67 is working on WUs.Now the Mac Benches MPFS 633.53,MIS 1911.46 and the work load is 18 WUs.And as soon as I connect it (MAC) it starts downloading more.Plus Host IDs do not match>Computer shows 460460 and my account shows 463854.I get an error 113 upon upload atempt.

Flashdrive: you may need to totally delete all the BOINC and SETI files and start over. If you do have to do this, you might consider downloading the optimized BOINC and SETI client files from here. I'd suggest the 4.13 G4 BOINC and the 4.30 SETI client for the G4 7450. I'm running these on a G4 PowerBook with no problems at all. Also, if you set your preferences to connect to network every 0.1 day, it won't download a whole lot of WU while you're still trying to get it to work.
