Since Monday I get this message: SETI@home - 2005-01-18 08:07:51 - Sending request to scheduler: http://setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi SETI@home - 2005-01-18 08:07:54 - Scheduler RPC to http://setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi failed SETI@home - 2005-01-18 08:07:54 - No schedulers responded Is there any problem? I have been connecting without a difficulty and right now: SETI@home - 2005-01-18 08:00:46 - Sending request to scheduler: http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi SETI@home - 2005-01-18 08:00:50 - Scheduler RPC to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi succeeded Have you upgraded to CC 4.14? Hi Liberto, I'm joined to Astroseti, but today at 8:00 a.m. the probability that someone answers very fast to my question is greater in this forum than in Astroseti. Thanks to your reply, but I have solved my problem. I have installed version 4.13 again and all is now ok. Thanks, and see you in Astroseti. Boinc y Astronomia
|

See you there, by the way, whereabouts of Barcelona are you located in? Patience is a virtue. |

If you're lucky, it's just a problem of the server being down. However, it might well be that it is a more persistent problem. See the thread http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=7913#71423 for a more detailed description. If so, my condolences. There is no real solution and only a few crude workarounds. The SETI team ignores the problem (or they are not reading these pages). I never saw a post by them acknowledging that it even exists. I'll still try a few ideas and then probably discontinue BOINC on the machines affected |
