started with BOINC.SETI@HOME at June 22, 2004 like much other users, problems to get WUs, now over 215 done/uploaded/reported still Total credit 0.00 Recent average credit 0.00 "frequently" checked the account pages, zero of negative credits. reading in the forums, users DO have already credits but not growing up understood, WUs have to be done by 3 users Do I just have no luck or are there others users in the same situation? Hoping not to waste CPU times greetings Richard |

They'll probably eventually get this working - I think they have to purposely spread the WU's out so the same person doesn't verify their own work (which makes sense). |

first result came in, now slowly growing. the credits came from CPUs, attached later to the project we all spend cpu cycles for free, but we are more motivated when we can see, that the efforts "arrives" guess I'll be more patient in future Richard |

For the moment you can not view it in any way at the webpages of Seti@Home. What you can do temporarily is use a software called BoincView. This keeps a log of all the WU's that has been processed. You can download the software here. Greetings from Belgium. |

The answer is: using an logging mechanismus, like BoincView, and count the crunshed/queued WUs yourself (by script, pgm or excel) exactly, using BoincView 07.h, workes fine. the tool "writes down" ever WU coming in, processing time and much more, there is a log file, called ==> "boinc_log.csv" The most informations are displayed with BoincView itself, it is still beta and under developement (but realy stable and usefull) For myself, I wrote a small add-on for BoincView, that gathers aditional Informations from the "boinc_log.csv", and the local xml files. for exp.,how many WUs are made my each host, important for me, how many WUs are Queued by host, so I can optimize the "Queuing" (Home/School/work-Profiles) ==> in the file "client_state.xml" there is plenty of information(see official Doku), now my credit ARE growing (patient yours will also), the mentioned filed collects the Total credit and the Recent credits done per host and done total. 3703.481851 348.214618 1055609655 93 48583 413.509972 45.128915 1088965170 22797.471003 please remember : only afther making an update on the Seti@home project, the local xml files are "syncronized" with berkeley The number of Wus is not so much inportant, the credit per Wu weights more. For the "ego" it's good to see, how many WUs a couple of CPUs can be completed a day (while the return of credits can change day by day) happy crunching! Richard |

hoping works this time with plaintext <a> <a> 4453.810432 <a> 412.831707 <a> 1055609655 <a> 95 <a> yourID <a> 413.509972 <a> 45.128915 user_total_credit=done by all hosts user_expavg_credit=done by the client. all written in file "client_state.xml" each PC has his own client_state.xml also in the file client_state.xml, written down the name of the WUs (and much more other infos) where are "queued" on the local host. |
