Here is a recap of problems encountered with the Version 3.19 compiled by team MacNN. (boinc_3.19_powerpc-apple-darwin) If any Mac user running 10.2.8 are currently running this version, please post and let me (us) know how works on your side.

Machine eMac G4 800 MHz - 768 Mb RAM
OS Jaguar 10.2.8

- I have repaired authorization and reboot, deleted all the boinc files and re-install everything from scratch but the problem remained. I haven't been able to force download using any of the unix cmd and had to wait one hour between each attemps !!!

It's not a WU problem because I tried with 2-3 different WU and I always got this
PROCESS GOT SIGNAL 5 message

Any help would be highly appreciate

Cheers

I also could use some help cause I'm getting the same error. Does anyone have an idea why Jaguar users cant get a stable version of BOINC going???? It obviously worked during beta -- what changed?

I have a question for ya, I did use the 10.2.8 version of boinc for awhile until I updated to 10.3, did you just get the boinc client and not the boinc client + the seti worker from the team MacNN compile? If you did you also want the Seti worker 3.10 instead of the usual seti worker 3.08... this is the link http://members.dslextreme.com/~readerforum/forum_team/boinc-seti10.2.8.sit, if you are still using 3.19 boinc client get the 3.20 cliet as well and just move the seti worker, which is in the Projects folder, move that folder into where 3.20 is, be careful tho, do not use 3.20 client from setiweb only use the Team MacNN compile of it heres the link http://members.dslextreme.com/~readerforum/forum_team/boinc.html, now U might experience once ya did all this that somehow boinc changes the name of the seti worker, which it did for me with the super optimized compile G3 for me for 10.3, so I changed it back to 3.10 from 3.08... I hope this helps ya figure it out, and pleae let me know how it goes for you... Matt
